According to the sources, the Japan government is working with automakers such as Toyota and Nissan to release self-driving cars.
Toyota has already revealed its e-Palette cars for the shuttle service. The cuboid-shaped battery-powered vehicle does not have a driver’s seat.
The whole idea behind this venture is to establish Japan in the electric and autonomous car field.
