JAIN IRRIGATION Share Price Up by 6%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Up 0.5%

JAIN IRRIGATION share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 46.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index is at 26,592 (up 0.5%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index today are JAIN IRRIGATION (up 6.1%) and SOLAR INDUSTRIES (up 7.3%).

FINOLEX CABLES (down 0.1%) and HONEYWELL AUTOMATION (down 0.1%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, JAIN IRRIGATION has moved up from Rs 14 to Rs 46, registering a gain of Rs 33 (up 241.5%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are KOTAK MAHINDRA BANK (up 2.9%), MARUTI SUZUKI (up 2.9%) and NTPC (up 2.7%). Other gainers include ONGC (up 2.2%) and POWER GRID (up 2.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ICICI BANK and NTPC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 17,981 (up 0.4%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include TATA MOTORS (up 7.1%), MARUTI SUZUKI (up 3.2%) and COAL INDIA (up 3.1%). Other gainers include KOTAK MAHINDRA BANK (up 2.9%) and NTPC (up 2.8%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 39,879 to 60,266, registering a gain of 20,387 points (up 51.07%).

JAIN IRRIGATION Financial Update…

JAIN IRRIGATION net profit declined 110.8% YoY to Rs 135 million for the quarter ended June 2021, compared to a loss of Rs 1 billion a year ago. Net Sales rose 24.5% to Rs 17.8 billion during the period as against Rs 14.3 billion in April-June 2020.

For the year ended March 2021, JAIN IRRIGATION reported 43.7% decrease in net profit to Rs 4.1 billion compared to net profit of Rs 7.2 billion during FY20.

Revenue of the company grew 4.3% to Rs 57 billion during FY21.

The current Price to earnings ratio of JAIN IRRIGATION, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at down 10.9x.<!–
