Audi launches the new Audi Q5 in India at Rs 58.93 Lakh

MUMBAI: German automaker, Audi India on Tuesday launched Audi Q5 Luxury SUV to the Indian market with a price tag of Rs 58.93 Lakh (ex-showroom, India). It is available in five colour options, in two trims, Premium Plus, technology and is offered in single-engine option which is 2.0-litre TFSI petrol engine which produces 249 hp of power and 370Nm torque. The pre-bookings are now open with the booking amount set at 2 Lakh, Customers can pre-book their car via online or dealerships.
The new Q5 has received a few subtle updates over the previous model, The front of the Audi Q5 comes with a single-frame grille and an octagon outline, While the grille and the slats have chrome garnishes, the skid plates, roof rails, and the new fog lamp casing get silver accents.

The look is enhanced by 48.26 cms (R19) alloy wheels, wraparound shoulder line, LED
Combination Lamps, Panoramic Sunroof, and Aluminium Roof rails.
The 5 colour options include
• Navarra Blue
• Ibis White
• Mythos Black
Floret Silver
• Manhattan Grey

The interior features a new 25.65 cm digital infotainment system with the third generation Modular Infotainment Platform MIB3, it also supports voice control, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Another highlight is the B&O Premium sound system with 19 speakers producing 3D sound effects at 755 watts output.

The changes in the cabin are minimal, The upholstery of the interior has been designed using Atlas beige and Okapi brown leatherette with inlays in Piano black finish, The front seats are electronically controlled with memory function for the driver, The car also features 3-zone-air-conditioning with a wireless phone charger.
The Audi Q5 is powered by 2.0-litre TFSI, four-cylinder, Turbo petrol engine which also can be found in Audi A6. However, in the Q5, the engine is tuned slightly to produce an extra 4 hp (249 hp & 370Nm). It comes available with a 7-Speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system comes as standard.

The new Audi Q5 Premium Plus is priced at ₹58,93,000 lakh (ex-showroom) and the Audi Q5 Technology ₹63,77,000 (ex-showroom). It continues to compete against the Mercedes-Benz GLC, BMW X3, Volvo XC60 and Land Rover Discovery Sport.
